Verbundprojekte der Förderrichtlinie "Aktuelle Dynamiken und Herausforderungen des Antisemitismus" (2021-2025)

Das Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung rief 2019 das Rahmenprogramm Gesellschaft verstehen – Zukunft gestalten für die Geistes- und Sozialwissenschaften ins Leben und dotierte es mit 700 Millionen Euro für die Förderzeit 2019–2025. Ziel des Rahmenprogramms ist es, durch Wissenstransfer aus interdisziplinärer Forschung den Zusammenhalt in der Gesellschaft zu fördern, die Innovationsfähigkeit der Geistes- und Sozialwissenschaften international zu stärken und das kulturelle Erbe Deutschlands nachhaltig zu sichern.

Im Jahr 2020 wurde dazu die Förderbekanntmachung Aktuelle Dynamiken und Herausforderungen des Antisemitismus veröffentlicht, die 2021 in der Förderung von zehn Verbundprojekten und einem Metavorhaben, dem Forschungsnetzwerk Antisemitismus im 21. Jahrhundert (FoNA21), mündete.

Antisemitismuserfahrung in der Dritten Generation (AE3G)
Der interdisziplinäre Verbund untersuchte, ob und wie heutige Antisemitismuserfahrungen der Dritten Generation die Verfolgungserfahrungen ihrer Großeltern transgenerational re-aktualisieren.

Antisemitism in the European Classroom (AIES)
The project investigates how to engage with antisemitism in the classroom and develops digital teaching materials to help prevent antisemitism across a range of disciplines.

Turning Object into Subject (Everyday Culture)
The first phase of the research project investigates the extent to which experiencing or anticipating hostility affects Jews’ religious practice. The second phase facilitates education and training through workshops and online videos.

ASJust
How does the judiciary deal with antisemitism? The project will address this question through a systematic survey of judicial practice. It takes into account the findings of antisemitism research as well as the perspectives of those affected in order to identify lacunae and develop possible courses of action alongside and for the judiciary.

Christian Signatures of Contemporary Antisemitism (ChriSzA)
This collaborative project is dedicated to identifying and analyzing Christian elements of antisemitism in its historical and contemporary manifestations. We understand the communication of knowledge in a broad sense, and thus the results of our research will feed back into the scholarly community, schools, and adult education.

EMPATHIA³ ()
EMPATHIA³ focuses on prospective police officers and teachers in confronting antisemitism. This project will develop, evaluate, and implement a core curriculum, a standardized test, and an intervention.

Net Olam
The collaborative project Net Olam conducts comprehensive data collection on the heretofore under-researched attacks on Jewish cemeteries; develops strategies to prevent these attacks; and establishes a network that promotes the communication of research findings and works to protect Jewish cemeteries.

RelcoDiff - Antisemitism in Pedagogical Contexts (RelcoDiff)
The interdisciplinary collaborative project traces religious constructions of difference in children of preschool and elementary school age in order to study and counteract antisemitic attitudes.

RESPOND! NO to Antisemitic Hate Speech Online! (RESPOND!)
The collaborative project RESPOND! works to provide young people with the tools to speak out against antisemitic hate speech on the German-language web.
